Elise Graham has trained with the Glasgow City first team at just 16 years old — the kind of early trust that tells you everything about the player she’s becoming. She was the first player we spoke to, and it didn’t take long to know she was someone we wanted on board here at no10.
A product of the Rangers FC Women’s pathway, Elise moved on to Glasgow City, where she captained her age group and was given the opportunity to train regularly alongside the first team. She was spoken about internally in relation to the first-team picture on numerous occasions — a rare mark of trust for a player still in her mid-teens, and a clear signal of the ceiling this player has in the game.
Now, no10 Futbol Pathway is taking her to America, where Elise will continue developing as both a footballer and a student. We believe there’s no ceiling on what she can achieve — this move is about giving Elise every opportunity to reach her full potential and her goals.
What Sets Elise Apart
From the very first conversation, Elise stood out. She’s already trained with Glasgow City’s first team — not their age-group setup, the first team — at 16 years old. That’s not something clubs offer lightly, and it tells you exactly how highly she was regarded there.
But it wasn’t just the football that stood out, it was the maturity she carries in everything she does. She’s a player clubs talk about when they’re thinking ahead, not just about the season in front of them. That same maturity shows up off the pitch — Elise treats her academic development with the same seriousness she brings to training, which is exactly the profile no10 Futbol Pathway looks for when finding the right next step for a player: Someone ready to compete and succeed both on the field and in the classroom.

Coach comments
“Elise has the maturity and game-understanding of a player years above her age. She’s calm on the ball, makes saves that other GKs her age dont, and the way she carries herself in training and academically tells you she’s built for this next step. She will lead and be an example to others, and Butler CC will be a great first step in her journey out in America.”
