COLLEGE SOCCER SEASON

HOW DOES THE COLLEGE SOCCER CALENDAR LOOK?

NCAA DI MENS NATIONAL TOURNAMENT MATCH.

SEASON BREAKDOWN

PRE SEASON: Teams begin training in early August, preparing physically and tactically for the season. 

REGULAR SEASON: The regular season begins around late August and continues through October and into November, with teams competing in their respective conferences and non-conference matches. 

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS: Towards the end of the regular season, conference championships are held, with teams vying for a spot in the national tournament. 

NATIONAL TOURNAMENT: The NCAA, NAIA & NCJAA tournament, which determines the national champion, typically begins in November and concludes in early December. 

SPRING SEASON: Some teams also participate in a spring season, which is a non-competitive season that runs from February to April. 

U.S. SOCCER SPRING MENS COLLEGE PROGRAM: A mini soccer season operated by the United States Soccer Federation that is open to NCAA Division I men's college soccer teams, running from late February to mid-April.
